Precision Fence Elbow Clamp
How important is work holding?
It is the most important aspect for repeatable results. Because the saw is cutting from the bottom up, you are fighting negative feed—this is the tendency of the board to move upward resisting the cut. This upward tendency needs to be completely eliminated with proper work holding. It is particularly critical when the blade is tilted. If the stock move upward while the blade is tilted, you will almost always jam your stock on the blade, which is not good.
Description
The Elbow Clamp can be angled in 20° positive-locking increments to apply clamping force exactly where it's needed.
This wide range of adjustability makes it extremely versatile for securing either flat or angled/irregular work pieces.
Its reach is extendable along its slotted arm, and it can also pivot side-to-side.
It attaches to one of two locations along the top of the Precision Fence and lets you use both the fence and the table surface as references to hold the work piece.
Material Quality
It is made of anodized aluminum, so that it is of high strength,
wear resistance and rust-proof.
