Precision Fence Bias Arm
How important is work holding?
It is the most important aspect for repeatable results. Because the saw is cutting from the bottom up, you are fighting negative feed—this is the tendency of the board to move upward resisting the cut. This upward tendency needs to be completely eliminated with proper work holding. It is particularly critical when the blade is tilted. If the stock move upward while the blade is tilted, you will almost always jam your stock on the blade, which is not good.
Description
It comes with a “V” groove clamp pad that screws on to the integral “C” clamp (not included) allowing you to clamp directly onto the corner of the stock without damaging the corner.
This unique arm fastens to the Tenon/Miter Protractor Plate (not included) and allows you to clamp square stock at a 45 degree bias to the blade which creates some very interesting detail cuts as well as some interesting joinery options. It must be used in conjunction with the Tenon Miter Jig and the Precision Fence System.
Material quality
It is made of anodized aluminum, so that it is of high
strength, wear resistance and rust-proof.
